Foshan Nanhai Changjin Plastic Cans Co., Ltd. (www.cjslzg.com), founded in 2006, is a large private enterprise specializing in the production of IBC ton barrels, IBC container barrels, plastic packaging cans, plastic barrels and chemical barrels. Customized products and services for customers. Our products have been well received by customers since they were launched on the market.
Next, let's talk about the precautions for stacking and using chemical barrels.
Now let's talk about the stacking and usage precautions of chemical barrels.
The safe storage of chemical barrels has always been a concern for many chemical barrel manufacturing companies, especially in the hot summer months, which can easily lead to air pollution and environmental damage. The instability of chemical barrels is due to their material being polyethylene, which is volatile, making the chemical barrels unstable. Therefore, before use, it is essential to ensure that the chemical barrels are usable. Precautions include:
1. It must be ensured that the packaging is tightly sealed after filling hazardous materials. The heat seal of the plastic bag inside the plastic barrel must be good or firm, and there must be no leaks or spills.
2. When loading hazardous materials into chemical barrels, the outer surface of the plastic barrel must not have corrosion or damage, and the appearance should be clean.
3. If the filled product easily generates volatile gases, especially in the months of February, April, and August when temperature differences are significant, filling should be done at a lower temperature to avoid deformation.
4. The weight or volume of a single hazardous material inside the plastic barrel must not exceed the limits set by the "International Regulations for the Transport of Dangerous Goods."
5. After packaging, the plastic barrels should be stacked on double-sided flat pallets, with pallet sizes not exceeding 1.3m. Only one layer can be stacked on each pallet, and the number of stacked plastic barrels depends on the pallet size. The edges of the plastic barrels must not exceed the edges of the pallet; the plastic barrels on the pallet should be symmetrically stacked, ensuring that the weight of the entire pallet and the plastic barrels on it is centered.
6. Plastic barrels should be stored under waterproof tarpaulins to avoid exposure to sunlight, and the storage temperature should be below 40 degrees Celsius and above -18 degrees Celsius.

7. The plastic barrels stacked on the pallet should be secured with stretch film. During packaging, care should be taken to prevent the plastic barrels from being compressed and deformed by more than 5%. The number of layers of stacked pallets should not exceed 2 layers, and the upper and lower layers should be aligned to ensure that the weight of the upper layer is evenly applied to the lower layer; the yard should be flat.
Why do chemical barrels deform?
Deformation of chemical barrels is an issue that many people encounter. Generally, people think that the sealing of the plastic barrel is not good enough, but this is not the case. There are many reasons for the deformation of the barrel. In the following content, we will introduce them in detail.
1. When the chemical barrel is filled with liquid items and the lid is tightened, due to the lack of air permeability, the pressure inside the barrel decreases as the liquid cools. At this time, due to external pressure, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the barrel leads to the deformation of the plastic barrel.
2. During the production of chemical barrels, the machines used are relatively outdated, and there are few control points for wall thickness, resulting in an asymmetrical barrel body.
3. Chemical barrels can deform either due to inconsistent internal and external pressures or because the machines used are relatively outdated. Once the cause is found, everyone can better solve this problem.
Alright, that's all for today's content. Thank you all for watching, and I wish you a happy life.
