How to distinguish the quality of plastic chemical barrels?

Chemical barrels have many advantages. Plastic chemical barrels feature seamless splicing, impact resistance, no leakage, corrosion resistance, lightweight, durability, and compliance with national standards. Compared to traditional fiberglass storage tanks, plastic welding vessels, and steel-plastic plastic vessels, the market demand for chemical barrels has always been strong. Compared to other types of plastic products, glue barrels are still a relatively high-profit item.

Plastic chemical barrels feature seamless splicing, impact resistance, not easy to leak, corrosion resistance, lightweight, durability, and compliance with national standards. Compared to traditional fiberglass storage tanks, plastic welding vessels, and steel-plastic plastic vessels, their service project characteristics have greatly improved, thus being recognized by many.

Plastic chemical barrels are made from high-pressure polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, and other plastics through injection molding, injection processing, blow molding, and rotational molding processes, generally used in chemical plants, pharmaceuticals, food, hardware electronics, electromechanical engineering, and other fields to hold liquid and solid items.

  1. Is there a relevant production license, such as a granted hazardous materials packaging product license?

  2. The raw materials selected for the product must comply with a new raw material.

  3. Check the various performance parameters of the new product, such as impact toughness, temperature resistance, and solvent resistance.

Of course, this requires considering the main parameters needed for the selected product based on different applications.

Storage and usage specifications for chemical plastic barrels

  1. Ensure that after hazardous materials are packaged, the packaging is securely sealed, and the sealing of the plastic bag inside the plastic barrel must be good or strong, with no leakage or overflow.

  2. When transporting hazardous materials in chemical barrels, the surface of the plastic barrel must not have corrosion or damage, and the appearance should be clean.

  3. If the packaged product is likely to generate harmful gases, especially in the months of February, April, and August when temperature differences are significant, it is advisable to package during relatively cooler times to avoid deformation.

  4. The weight or volume of scattered hazardous goods in the plastic barrel must not exceed the limits set by the "International Regulations for the Transport of Dangerous Goods."

  5. After packaging, plastic barrels should be stacked on double-sided pallets, with pallet specifications not exceeding 1.3m, and each pallet should only have one layer stacked. The total number of layers of plastic barrels depends on the size of the pallet; the edges of the plastic barrels should not exceed the edges of the pallet; the plastic barrels in the pallet should be symmetrically stacked, allowing the weight of the entire pallet and the plastic barrels inside to be centered on the pallet.

  6. Plastic barrels should be stored under a canopy to prevent exposure to sunlight, with a storage temperature below 40 and around -18°C.

  7. The plastic barrels stacked on the pallet should be secured with stretch film. During packaging, care should be taken to avoid squeezing and deforming the plastic barrels against each other, with deformation not exceeding 5%; the number of layers stacked on better pallets should not exceed 2 layers, and when stacking, the two ends of the upper layer should be aligned with the lower layer to ensure the weight is evenly distributed on the next layer; the stacking area should be tidy.
